17-18/1/12 - project OpenCloudWare officially starts
The new collaborative R&D project OpenCloudWare holds its kick-off meeting at INRIA Montbonnot on January 17 & 18.
This project is lead by Orange Labs and counts a number of industrial partners from the OW2 consortium (ActiveEon, Bull, eNovance, eXo Platform, Peergreen, UShareSoft), Thalès, and several public research centers. OpenCloudWare aims at building an open software engineering platform, for the collaborative development of distributed applications to be deployed on multiple Cloud infrastructures. It is supported by public authorities through the FSN.
ScalAgent DT participates to OpenCloudWare with the ambition to build a Cloud Messaging platform from JORAM.
