• JORAM v3.7 provides a new administration GUI!- Nov. 7
  JORAM 3.7 includes the long expected graphical tool for administering and monitoring the state of a JORAM platform. Thanks to Alexander Fedorowicz, an active contributor, this tool is made available to the whole JORAM community. The tool allows to manage and monitor a JORAM platform made of one or many.

  "ObjectWeb, the worldwide consortium focused on open-source middleware, released a J2ME port of JORAM, its Java Messaging Service (JMS) compliant middleware. With this new release, ObjectWeb delivers the first complete open-source stack enabling lightweight Java 2 Micro-Edition (J2ME) devices to communicate with JMS messaging applications.

• Training Session JMS-JORAM Grenoble Dec. 3 et 4 France
  "Professional Usage and Deployment of the JORAM open-source messaging system".
  JORAM is the JMS compliant open-source messaging system from Objectweb and Scalagent Distributed Technologies. JORAM is currently embedded in Objectweb's Jonas application server. The training session will be held in Grenoble, France.

• Joram v3.6 connects J2ME™ devices- Aug. 7
  JORAM 3.6 follows the 3.4 release in addressing the opening of the JORAM platform to heterogenous client applications. Where JORAM 3.4, with the support of SOAP as client communication protocol, opened the platform to non-Java applications, the 3.6 release,with its new kJORAM libraries, allows J2ME applications to use JORAM messaging functionnalities. A J2ME application is a lightweight Java application deployed and running on a mobile device such as a PDA or a smart phone. Consult Objectweb site for more information
  
• RedHat adopts JOnAS and JORAM- Aug. 5
  San Francisco, August 5th, 2003
  ObjectWeb today announced that Red Hat, the world's premier provider of enterprise Linux Solutions, has joined the consortium.
