Add-on modules

JORAM provides a complete JMS 1.1 support and goes far beyond the specification in terms of features. ScalAgent make some new features available on top of JORAM to facilitate the integration of JMS with external applications. All those functions are packaged into add-on modules.

JORAM+ Distribution

The JORAM+ consists of the complete open-source distribution, including all documentation, plus the Integration package and the related documentation.

	Integration Package
	JORAM Services Setup This add-on provides a setup wizard for both Windows and Linux platforms. This wizard simplifies the installation procedure and enables JORAM to be seen as a Service (NTServices or Linux Services). The current version works on WindowsNT, Win2k, XP and Linux. Other platform can be supported on-demand (AIX, Solaris, ...) JORAM Connectors Connectors are used to communicate with external applications using a specified protocol and communication channel. Available connectors are: Mail Gateway This add-on provides a simple way to send and receive JMS messages over SMTP. Mail Queues and Topics are configured and installed the same way as for classic ones. FTP Gateway This add-on provides specific Queues that communicate through the FTP protocol. Those queues are of particular interest when exchanging large files.

Pricing

Two licence packs are available. The binary licence pack provides the jars and can be used freely within your company for one single end-user applciation. Additional licence pack must be purchased for other en-user applciaitons. A binary licence pack can be redistributed freely into one end-user or commercial application. The source-code licence pack includes the jars and the source code files. Source code licence pack allows the pack to be used freely within your company and to be redistributed within all you end-user or commercial applications. See the licence condition here.

Maintenance Contracts

Maintenance for product upgrades and bug fixes. Maintenance contracts have a life time of 12 months. The first 12 months are free. Additional maintenance are priced at 20,00 percent of the license fee per year.

ObjectWeb

The ObjectWeb initiative is aiming at the creation of an Open Source Community around middleware software and the creation of a free middleware software database.
