Mediation Suite for Energy Management Systems

The collection of usage data from Energy management devices is gaining success because of the emergence of new utility services such as consumption analysis, remote maintenance, hypervision, advanced metering, online billing, ....

The Mediation Suite for Energy Management is targeted at Utilities and Device Manufacturers who are willing to drive the best from their devices and deliver real-time information to their new services.


	Architecture		Specific mediation software components are in charge of processing the records delivered by the devices and enrich data before passing the pertinent information to upper layer application, such as metering. Mediation components perform filtering, aggregation, transformation, enrichment and correlation of any records for various usages. Complex indicators computed out of multiple sources and multiple types of device can be easily defined and deployed. This set of operations can be used for computing both long term or real-time indicators. The information produced can thus be used by both statistical metering system or supervision. The mediation components in charge of data tranformation can be hosted on various mediation servers, thus enabling parallel and distributed processing seamlessly.
