Mediation Suite for Energy Management Systems

The collection of usage data from Energy management devices is gaining success because of the emergence of new utility services such as consumption analysis, remote maintenance, hypervision, advanced metering, online billing, ....

The Mediation Suite for Energy Management is targeted at Utilities and Device Manufacturers who are willing to drive the best from their devices and deliver real-time information to their new services.


	Architecture		The Mediation Suite is a package that includes the following technical components. Mediation Components Components are categorized as collector components, processing components and connector components. Collector : handle record from any device connected to an OPC™ server or accessible through Modbus fieldbus. Processing Components : provides transformation, agregation, correlation, filtering,... of Netflow record in a distributed way Connector components: enable to feed external computerized resources with transformed records. Standard format are provided such as text file, csv, MS Excel, HTML/XML, RDBS through JDBC drivers, JMS messages, ... Mediation Servers A mediation server is a runtime process hosting the mediation components. Mediation servers can communicate remotely and they ensure the execution of mediation operations. Servers are available on any Java 2 enabled platfom and qualified for Windows98/ME/2k/XP, Linux RedHat-SuSe-Mandrake Mediation eServers A mediation eServer is a subset of the mediation server dedicated to run on embedded target. Target system are Java enabled systems such as J2ME™, OSGi™ or JavaCard™. SDK The Software Development Kit enables the creation of custom mediation solutions and the customization of existing mediation components to fit your application requirements.
