The first level of JORAM support is provided by the open source community using the joram@ow2.org mailing list. JORAM users on this list share their experience, and answer the most usual problems. It is free, of the « best effort » type with no guarantee of service.

Professional support

Professionals looking for a higher quality of service, with a set term guarantee of intervention by technical JORAM experts, may select one of the packs offered by ScalAgent DT. Our fixed price support packs are centered on the client project. This support pricing unit clearly differentiates our offering from other editors which rate on a processor or core basis. It allows the decision-maker to actually control its support cost all over its project, by providing him from start with a fixed price which does not depend on the development methodology he follows or the size of his future deployment.

A client project is defined by the development, deployment, and/or installation of an application, under the control of a project leader (see also here for a more precise definition). This definition leads to different offerings, depending on the client actual business type and project methodology. You may find more business oriented support packs, be you:

• end user (i.e. developer and/or operator for your own benefit),
• IT services company (i.e. computer engineering or developer for a third party),
• VAR (i.e. equipment manufacturer, software publisher, ASP or SaaS). → VAR offering

The ScalAgent DT support offering is integrated to the global JoramMQ Entreprise package. We actually rely on the included tools and services to perform this service.

All contracts guarantee the intervention of ScalAgent DT in a set term, for an unlimited number of execution issues related to the client project, and for a fixed yearly price. Two standard packs JORAM Silver and JORAM Gold, completed with several options, are detailed in the brochure to download.
